The closing ceremony of the 8th edition of the Blue Ocean Awards will be broadcast from the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute today April 13 from 7pm (CEST)

The Blue Ocean Awards, the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute, the French embassy in Senegal, the city of Fontainebleau, Aésio Mutuelle, UNISA, HEC Paris, DER/FJ the Senegalese government agency in charge of the Entrepreneurship, the government of Tamil Nadu, and Saint-Gobain are pleased to announce the live broadcast of the closing ceremony of the Blue Ocean Awards 8th edition on YouTube this Thursday, April 13 from 7pm (CEST): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrbkL2pIbyE

The Blue Ocean Awards are directly inspired by blue ocean strategy, which stems from the research works of INSEAD Professors W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne on business strategy and value innovation. In their global bestsellers Blue Ocean Strategy and Blue Ocean Shift, they deciphered how any company by the simultaneous pursuit of differentiation and low cost can create a new market space with new demand. Now, Kim and Mauborgne are set to release their new book, Beyond Disruption, on May 2, 2023. Building on three decades of research, the book introduces a new approach to innovation, nondisruptive creation, that allows all of us to innovate and achieve growth without disruption and social pain.

Created in 2014 by Alban Eral with the support of the French Ministry of Economy and Finances and HEC Paris, the Blue Ocean Awards are now released in France, South Africa, India, and Senegal. Professors W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne have proposed hosting the international closing ceremony of this 8th edition at their INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute inviting all the winners and finalists from the four countries. The ceremony will also be attended by Prof. Peter Zemsky, Deputy Dean of INSEAD, Ms. Nthabiseng Makuwa Minister Plenipotentiary representing the Ambassador of South Africa in France, Mrs. Lise Talbot Barré, Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai, Mrs. Swati Sharma, Third Secretary, Economics and Commerce, representing the Ambassador of India in France and Mr. Julien Gondard, Mayor of Fontainebleau.

The closing ceremony will be live-streamed April 13 from 7.00pm [CEST] and accessible on this direct link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrbkL2pIbyE (get notified)
