The 1st edition of the Blue Ocean Awards in India will be broadcasted from Umagine Chennai in India tomorrow March 24
The Blue Ocean Awards, the Department of Information Technology and Digital Services of the Government of Tamil Nadu, the General Consulate of France in Pondicherry and Chennai, Saint-Gobain India and Umagine Chennai announce the live broadcast of the 1st Indian Blue Ocean Awards ceremony on YouTube this Friday March 24 from 5.30pm
The Blue Ocean Awards are directly inspired by the blue ocean strategy, which stems from the research works of the two INSEAD Professors W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne on business strategy through value innovation. In their world bestsellers Blue Ocean Strategy and Blue Ocean SHIFT, they deciphered how any company by the simultaneous pursuit of differentiation and low cost can open up a new market space and create new demand.
The Blue Ocean Awards – created in 2014 by Alban Eral with the support of the French Ministry of Economy and Finances and HEC Paris – continue to spread internationally. After being extended in South Africa and Senegal in 2021, the major event Umagine Chennai hosts this Friday March 24 the jury and the ceremony of the 1st Indian edition of the Blue Ocean Awards. The jury session will take place in the morning, led by professional investors and international corporations as Saint-Gobain India. The Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai will also be part of the jury.
Ceremony will be live streamed March 24 from 5.30pm [UTC + 5:30], with introduction by Hon’ble Thiru T Mano Thangaraj, Minister, Information Technology & Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, Mrs. Lise Talbot Barré, Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai, and Dr. Sanjay Tyagi Director of Software Technology Parks of India.
