The Blue Ocean Awards announce the agenda of their 5th edition

Under the high patronage of Bruno LE MAIRE, Minister of Economy and Finance, HEC Paris, the AXESSIO Innovation Strategies consultancy and the Directorate General for Enterprises (DGE) will announce on 6 November 2018, at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (PMF conference centre), the list of the 11 companies rewarded at the 5th edition of the Blue Ocean Awards.

Visitors will be able to meet the 19 finalists in the Finalists' Lounge, interact with their founders and discover their innovations, such as Bob, the world's most compact, fast and ecological dishwasher, Blue frog robotics creator of the emotional companion robot, the car rental of the future with Virtuo or Bird Office, the corporate workplace reservation.

At 9:00 a.m., designers from Davidson Consulting andAxessio Innovation Strategies will present the foundations of the designer's thinking and lead a round table discussion with several experts in creativity and co-design from MIT and HEC Montréal.

At the same time, Marc BEAUVOIS-COLADON, Axessio Partner and historical expert of the Blue Ocean Strategy, will introduce participants to this value-focused innovation method.

At 10:45 am, Nicolas LEMOINE, Executive Director ofHEC Paris Executive Education, will talk about his experience as CEO of the American operator AT&T for the EMEA zone, accompanied by several members of Management Committees (CODIR), who will discuss together the "100 days to succeed when you join a CODIR".

From 2:00 pm, the Hackathon Final will start between HEC Paris and CentraleSupelec students. Armelle HELLARA, Programme Manager at CentraleSupelec and Stéphane MADOEUF, Director of the Digital Major at HECParis note: "The 6 finalist projects have all found new markets in the Blue Oceans, which will guarantee them rapid development in ultra-competitive environments".

From 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, with Albane GODARD, Director of the Urban Lab of Paris&Co, Olivier MATHIOT, President of Thecamp and Olivier TRIDON, Director Partnerships & Start-ups of Nova Veolia, Alban ERAL, Managing Partner Axessio Innovation Strategies, will launch the BlueCity program which creates the services of the City of tomorrow by associating large groups, cities, startups and senior entrepreneurs from the Blue Ocean STARTER.

Philippe RASE, expert in the Internet of Connected Objects (IoT) at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Patrick ESCANDE, Mobility expert at Arval, Caroline NOWACKI from the Society & Organizations research centre at HEC Paris and several members of Blue Ocean STARTER - an entrepreneurial programme to create new markets - will exchange their views on building the City of Tomorrow.

The award ceremony will start at 17.00, hosted by Anicet MBIDA, journalist on France Télévisions and Europe 1.

Guests of honour at the Blue Ocean Awards ceremony: Pascal FAURE, Managing Director of INPI, Gérald KARSENTI, Managing Director of SAP France, Bertrand BAILLY, CEO of Davidson Consulting,Gaël MENU, Director of Public Offering of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hugues LE BRET, Founder of Compte-Nickel (BNP Paribas) and Dominique BUSSO, Chairman of Forbes France.

Guests of honour and members of the jury will reward the winners. Among the jury members are investors, managers and recognized entrepreneurs.

Jo-Michel DAHAN, Assistant Director of Service Companies and Liberal Professions of the DGE, testifies: "Over the years, the DGE, one of the founding members of this award, has been checking the appetite of young entrepreneurs to sail the blue oceans".
